Terms of Service
1. Informational Site
The VeriBag marketing site describes a traveler-protection product that is being prepared for public release. Site content is informational and may change before launch.
2. No Legal Advice
VeriBag is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Cryptographic evidence can support a defense record, but it does not guarantee any legal, customs, airline, insurance, or government outcome.
3. Product Availability
Features, prices, subscriptions, legal partner availability, hotline access, and reimbursement terms remain subject to final app-store approval, commercial agreements, and legal review.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not interfere with the site, attempt to access non-public systems, scrape signup data, impersonate others, or submit false contact information.
5. Security and Evidence Records
Evidence records remain accessible to you during your active account. We recommend exporting evidence bundles you wish to retain via Settings → Export My Data before account closure. VeriBag will respond to lawful subpoenas, court orders, and government requests in accordance with applicable law.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Subscription tiers, pricing, and billing periods will be clearly displayed before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings -> [Your Name] -> Subscriptions, or in Google Play -> Subscriptions. Refunds are subject to Apple App Store and Google Play refund policies. Active subscriptions continue until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.
7A. Data Portability
You may export your data at any time through Settings -> Export My Data. Exports include your bag library, trip records, evidence bundles, and receipts in standardized formats. Export is provided in JSON and PDF formats.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriBag is provided without warranties on this marketing site. VeriBag is independent and is not affiliated with any airline, airport, customs authority, or law-enforcement agency.
10. Termination
VeriBag will provide 30 days' notice before VeriBag-initiated termination except in cases of fraud, security risk, or legal violation. We recommend exporting your evidence records before account closure. VeriBag may retain copies of evidence records as required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.
11. Jurisdiction
These draft terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, subject to final legal review.
