Operational flow

What happens with VeriBag

Here's exactly what protection looks like, step by step.

Before the airport

Set up the trip

Open VeriBag and enter the flight details. The entire setup takes less than 60 seconds.

At check-in

Seal the record

Photograph the bag from five angles, capture the airline barcode tag, and take a quick counter selfie. VeriBag seals these together, signed by your phone and anchored for independent verification.

During travel

Keep the baseline

If something happens mid-transit, the VeriBag record already exists. It was created before the bag left your hands.

At arrival

Verify integrity

Photograph the bag again at the destination carousel. VeriBag compares the arrival state against the original check-in record.

If something goes wrong

Share the verification link

Share your verification link with police, your embassy, your lawyer, or a journalist. They open it in a browser and see the original photos, timestamp, and proof that the record was created at check-in - not made up afterward.

Average time to use VeriBag at check-in: 90 seconds.

VeriBag is designed for the moment when a traveler needs clear facts fast: what the bag looked like, which tag was attached, when the record was created, and who can verify it.

VeriBag product note

Frequently asked by families

Can my son or daughter use this if they are not technical?

Yes. VeriBag is built for airport conditions. If they can take a smartphone photo, they can use the app. The signing, timestamping, and verification work happens in the background.

What if their phone dies during travel?

The important record is created at check-in. Once the protection record is sealed and synced, the phone does not need to stay powered on during the flight for that check-in record to exist.

What if the bag is opened by customs?

Official customs inspections can happen. VeriBag does not prevent inspection; it gives the traveler a clear baseline record of what they checked in before the bag left their hands.

How is this different from regular camera-roll photos?

Regular photos can help, but they are easier to challenge because they are loose files. VeriBag groups the photos, tag, timestamp, and phone signature into one verification record.

Can this help with airline or insurance disputes?

It can provide organized documentation that is easier to share and verify. It is not legal advice or a guaranteed outcome, but it gives the traveler a stronger record than scattered photos.

Protect someone flying soon

Not traveling yourself, but worried about a family member?

Send them the VeriBag waitlist and the pre-flight manual defense guidance. It gives them practical steps they can use before the app opens broadly.

What VeriBag does

VeriBag helps travelers create a protected record of their bag at check-in: photos, tag details, timestamp, and verification data captured before the bag leaves their hands.

Who it's for

VeriBag is for international travelers who want a clear, independent record they can share if a checked bag is questioned, delayed, damaged, or mishandled.
